Roman, which started its journey in 1980 with the understanding of high quality and sustainable production as an initiative of Turgut Toplusoy, soon became known among popular brands with its innovative and high-design collections. Today, it has become one of the luxury ready-to-wear brands that dominate the sector in Turkey and in the world.
Roman completes the wardrobe of women who follow trends, do not compromise on style, and are confident, from day to night, with its wide range of products ranging from daily wear to cocktail and evening dresses. In the collection, crepe, silk and cotton-weighted high-quality fabrics come to life with original designs. Roman reaches its customers all over the world with 29 stores in Turkey and 10 stores abroad.
HISTORY
1980
Its first store was opened in Nişantaşı Rumeli Street.
In particular, Roman branded coats and coats attracted the attention of Istanbulites. Roman's second store was opened in Suadiye in 1984.
Merchandising
After the 1990s, the process of retailing gained momentum.

In 1990, he created the 'Gipsy' brand, which produces products for young people and meets the consumers in Roman stores, with more affordable prices.
2003
Suzan Toplusoy became the Novel Design Coordinator. The design staff has been strengthened with the vision of becoming an international brand that influences world fashion.
2005
In 2005, in order to respond more quickly to increasing customer demands, the Roman brand strengthened its teams and moved to the Roman Headquarters in Çekmeköy, which has a closed area of 4000m2.
2006
After 2006, there was a transition from merchandising to retail management.
2010
In 2010, Roman prepared the Organic by Roman collection, produced entirely from organic fabrics, within the scope of social responsibility, by adhering to organic production conditions.
